Bill Shallert was the dad on the Patty Duke show. He did a million voice-overs in the 80s. He was another one that I didn’t mind him drowning out my arrangement.
The gimmick here is the stop motion speed-up on the bologna stack. Slide whistle was too corny but it had to be a little like that.
It had to start with the original so we had to tune the woodwinds and the synth to that. Then the kid fades out and the transition to the new track had to be seamless. And you thought this was easy…
